Role is hybrid based out of Irving, TX or Baskin Bridge, NJ
MUST HAVE SKILLS (must be showcased on resume):
. Minimum 8 years of experience with Oracle, PL SQL
. Proficient in understanding and creating complex SQL queries
. Knowledge of version control practices and procedures (GIT)
. Highly proficient in Oracle PL SQL developer activities and multi-task to work in other technologies (Teradata/MS SQL Server)
. Experience in Unix shell scripting ADDITIONAL SKILLS
. AWS Infrastructure setup and understanding DESIRED SKILLS BUT NOT MANDATORY:
. Experience in MS SQL server
. Teradata Experience with ETL and Teradata utilities (BTEQ, MLOAD, FLOAD, FAST EXPORT)
. Exposer to any reporting tool set like Qlik or Tableau
JOB DUTIES: Position will be responsible specific to
(1) Designing database tables and structures.
(2) Creating views, functions, triggers, stored procedures and packages.
(3) Research complex Oracle programs and address data issues.
(4) Provide batch application support.
(5) Build new ETL workflow in Teradata and unix
(6) Work with the onshore and offshore team in application design and build using the technologies defined in the must have skills
(7) Communicate status of the activities effectively with management or clients
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
. Bachelor”s or master”s degree in computer science/information technology or relevant engineering field with minimum 6 to 10 years of experience
