Oracle Database Administrator :: Location: NYC,NY /NJ Onsite from Day 1 :: Duration: Long term Contract

Hi ,

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems using technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and other tuning techniques
• Implement and maintain database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability and recoverability
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including security and data privacy requirements
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including schema and data dictionaries
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure that database requirements are incorporated into the design and implementation of new systems and applications
• Participate in on-call rotation for database support

Required Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a database administrator role
• Strong understanding of database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Access and SQL Server
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with database monitoring and management tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager or SQL Server Management Studio
