Overview
The Oracle CPM Solutions Architect/Advisor will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Cloud Performance Management solutions across financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle EPM/CPM Cloud applications and strong functional understanding of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), with a particular emphasis on Food & Beverage operations, supply chain dynamics, and margin management.
The ideal candidate combines technical mastery with industry insight to guide business leaders through transformation initiatives, ensuring Oracle CPM capabilities align with the unique needs of food manufacturing, distribution, and retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Delivery
- Design end‑to‑end Oracle CPM/EPM Cloud solutions (FCCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, ARCS, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, etc.) tailored to CPG and food industry requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable CPM architectures covering financial consolidation, demand planning, cost allocation, profitability analysis, and operational performance.
- Lead solution blueprinting, data modeling, integration design, and configuration.
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and food‑industry‑specific compliance standards.
- Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a strategic advisor to finance, supply chain, and commercial leaders on performance management transformation.
- Facilitate workshops, roadmap development, and process redesign sessions.
- Provide thought leadership on CPG/Food industry trends such as trade promotion optimization, SKU profitability, shelf‑life impacts, and cost‑to‑serve modeling.
- Implementation Leadership
- Oversee project teams through design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and business SMEs to ensure seamless integrations with ERP (Oracle Fusion, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.), supply chain systems, and data platforms.
- Drive quality assurance, risk mitigation, and change management activities.
- Data & Analytics
- Architect data flows supporting planning, forecasting, and profitability models.
- Leverage Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or similar tools to deliver dashboards and insights.
- Support advanced analytics use cases such as demand sensing, cost modeling, and scenario planning.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience implementing Oracle EPM/CPM Cloud solutions.
- Strong functional expertise in at least two Oracle modules: FCCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, ARCS, EDMCS, or OAC.
- Proven experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, ideally with Food & Beverage manufacturers, distributors, or retailers.
- Deep understanding of CPG financial processes:
- Trade spend & promotion planning
- SKU‑level profitability
- Cost‑to‑serve
- Demand & supply planning
- Margin management
- Inventory & shelf‑life considerations
- Experience integrating CPM with ERP, supply chain, and data warehouse systems.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and advisory skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
- Background in food safety, regulatory compliance, or manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics, AI/ML forecasting, or data science concepts.
- Consulting experience with a major SI or boutique advisory firm.
- Oracle Cloud certifications (EPM/CPM).
