Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy OpenShift clusters in on-premises and cloud environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable DevSecOps pipelines using RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience in designing for failure, including disaster recovery and business IT continuity planning
- Implement and manage monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Develop and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure optimal system health
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of applications in OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
- Create and manage Helm charts for application deployment.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Open Tofu for infrastructure management.
- Build and manage Docker images for application deployment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Experience in networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, ingress controllers, and service mesh
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevSecOps, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 13-15 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Strong expertise in building and managing DevOps pipelines.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Open Tofu).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools, including SAST, DAST tools, and secrets management.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Understanding of Linux
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OpenShift and Kubernetes certifications.
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps
