Role: Lead/Senior java Developer

Location: McLean VA

12 months

Work experience as a Senior/Lead Java Developer, min 7 years experience .

Experience designing, building and testing java core and Java/Java EE
applications

Understand and take handover of exiting nodejs applications

In-depth experience of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVC

Extensive experience with JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and RESTful web
services

Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Sound knowledge of
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts

Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be
high-volume and low-latency

Identify and resolve any technical issues arising

Transforming requirements into stipulations

Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies,
and presenting for architectural review

Relevant Knowledge of Java GUI frameworks like Swing, SWT, AWT according to
project requirements

Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools, for instance, Git

Understanding of building tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc

Web frameworks like Struts and Spring

Good knowledge of servlets, web sockets
