Role: PeopleSoft SW Engineer

Location: Texas, Austin (Hybrid)

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The candidate must possess strong PeopleSoft COBOL and Application Engine development, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and technical documentation tasks for complex logic and high-volume processing.

The candidate must be able to work within an established process and standards, meet deadlines, and communicate proficiently in both oral and written forms.

8              Required             COBOL

8              Required             SQR

8              Required             Performance tuning long-running programs

8              Required             PeopleSoft project migrations

4              Preferred            BI Publisher

4              Preferred            AWE

4              Preferred            Ability to analyze functional design requirements

4              Preferred            Ability to create technical design documents

2              Preferred            Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials State of Texas Baseline on PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2

2              Preferred            Development in PeopleSoft GL, AP, or PO modules

2              Preferred            Working with the Scrum process

2              Preferred            Microsoft Office Applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio)

1              Preferred            Working with the STAT migration tool

1              Preferred            Working with the Tivoli scheduling tool

1              Preferred            Working with Jira as a user
