I have a client who is looking for a technical business analyst. This role is on-site 3 days/week in either St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC. They need have been a developer or engineer in the past. They are looking for someone with experience in Camunda and NoSQL.
Here is the job description:
Overview:
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations.
- Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems.
- Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff.
- Identifies, documents, reports and tracks system issues. Supports the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables. 8 + years of experience.
- Technical Skills:
o REST Web Services
o SQL
o Postman
o SOAP UI
o Visio or Draw.io
o Kafka
o SPLUNK
o No SQL Database experience such as (Mango DB, Cassandra, Redis)
o SQL Database experience (Oracle)

Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering/Analysis– For preparing Low Level Design and visualization activities
Requirements Gathering/Analysis– For preparing Low Level Design and visualization activities
- Gather, refine and validate complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks and issues
- Analyze complex business partners’ operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes, functions, and systems
- Assess available technologies to create development specifications
Application support
- Support all the related applications in all the environments that is, development, staging and production,
- Provide in-depth technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
- Consult with management and users to determine the needs of the system
- Design a system to meet the business goals
- Specify inputs and formatting outputs to meet users’ needs
- Unit Testing and review the integration test results of the modules
Major/Minor Enhancements – Detailed Design and review, Integration and Testing
- Prepare Technical Detail design documents
- Work on reviews of Technical Deliverables during the project verification phase and Quality Control phase.
- Perform both programming and analysis tasks on business systems
- May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues
- Facilitate communication and gains commitment between business units to align solutions with business strategies
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit, efficiency and technical viability of solutions to business problems
- Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) from initial requirements to final implementation
- Perform other responsibilities as requested
Stabilization Activities for applications
- Oversee implementation, coordinating tests and observing initiation of the system to validate performance
- Look for opportunities to improve internal processes, and implement measures to control risks within the business applications framework
