Overview
We are looking for a Salesforce QA Engineer to test Salesforce applications, integrations, and customizations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Salesforce testing, automation, data validation, and end-to-end CRM workflows across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce features.
· Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
· Validate CRM workflows: leads, opportunities, cases, approvals, flows, and automations.
· Test custom objects, triggers, APIs, Lightning components, and Salesforce configurations.
· Ensure data accuracy between Salesforce and integrated systems (APIs, middleware, ETL).
· Log defects, track progress, and coordinate with Admins/Devs to resolve issues.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retros).
· Create testing documentation and ensure QA best practices across releases.
Required Skills
· 10 years of experience in QA, with at least 5 years in Salesforce testing.
· Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, workflows, flows, validation rules, profiles, and permissions.
· Hands-on testing of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Experience, and integrations.
· Experience with test management tools: JIRA, Zephyr, QTest, TestRail.
· Knowledge of SOQL for data validation.
· Understanding of API testing tools (Postman/SoapUI).
· Strong documentation skills and defect reporting.
· Experience with Selenium, Provar, or other Salesforce automation tools.
· Salesforce Admin certification.
· Exposure to CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or MuleSoft integrations.
