Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick) Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable CPQ solutions within one of the largest Salesforce implementations. This role involves collaborating with business teams, defining architecture, and building high-quality, enterprise-grade Salesforce features with a focus on CPQ.
Key Responsibilities
· Work with business users and BSAs to gather requirements and translate them into scalable CPQ solutions.
· Design and implement Salesforce/SteelBrick CPQ configurations, pricing rules, product bundles, and approval workflows.
· Develop custom components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), REST APIs, JavaScript, and related technologies.
· Lead solution design, technical specifications, and architecture decisions across projects.
· Support production issues, enhancements, and ongoing optimization of CPQ processes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end solution delivery.
· Communicate effectively with executives, analysts, and technical teams to drive alignment and clarity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce SteelBrick CPQ implementation for medium-to-large enterprises.
· Expertise in Apex, Lightning, APIs, JavaScript, CSS, and Salesforce customization.
· Experience in solution architecture, process design, and workflow automation.
· Proven ability to deliver scalable, high-quality Salesforce and CPQ solutions.
· Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and modern engineering best practices.
· Strong problem-solving ability, adaptability, and time management skills.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn new technologies quickly.
· Understanding of Salesforce platform trends and ability to suggest improvements.
· A collaborative mindset and a great sense of humor.
