Job Description:
- Minimum 12+ years of experience.
- 10+ years of extensive experience in implementing data mapping, data catalog solutions with large enterprises
- Worked with enterprise data lake, both structural and unstructured data
- Experience with data cataloging solutions like Alation, Collibra, Informatica, or Apache Atlas. Knowledge of how to implement, configure, and maintain these tools.
- Must have experience with tools like OneTrust, Transcend
- PoC Design & Execution: Experience developing PoC for data cataloging, governance, or privacy tools (e.g., Collibra, OneTrust, Transcend) to demonstrate their effectiveness in addressing business needs
- Tool Evaluation & Selection: Ability to evaluate and select the right tools for an organization’s data governance and cataloging needs, conducting PoCs to test tool capabilities and integration with existing infrastructure.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and how they influence data handling, cataloging, and governance practices
- Ability to document data flows and transformations across various platforms, ensuring data is correctly mapped from source to destination
- Leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, ensuring that data mapping and cataloging initiatives are aligned with business goals.
- Strong ability to create clear documentation and training materials to ensure that users can efficiently leverage the data catalog and mapping solutions
