Role – Node.JS Developer
Location – Dallas, TX / Remote
Contract
Note – Candidate should be local to Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and maintenance of scalable and efficient backend services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
Architect, develop, and deploy high-quality software components using NodeJS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Ensure the implementation of best practices for coding standards, testing, and deployment processes.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to backend services.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative environment.
Develop, deploy and support applications to make sure the deliveries are on time along with keeping the Apps updated across the system and chain
On call or pager support on rotation basis.
Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT development, with a focus on backend services.
Strong proficiency in NodeJS & Javascript, with a deep understanding of its core principles and ecosystem.
Proven experience working with Kubernetes and Docker for containerized application deployments.
Solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to design scalable and robust systems, considering performance, security, and maintainability.
Experience leading technical initiatives, providing guidance, and driving projects to successful completion.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about system architecture and design.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
