Position : L1 New Business Accelerator

Responsibilities
· New Business Accelerator Team to develop the project’s business incubator/accelerator strategy, ensuring that the project’s achievements, key lessons and best practices are effectively communicated to a broad range of stakeholders and interests.
· Identify business opportunities and assess candidate companies based on business accelerators’ potential impact, the entrepreneur’s willingness to work with the incubator’s curriculum, impact on the local and national economy, and the company’s relevance
· Provide technical and advisory support to selected local government units interested in participating in business incubators/accelerators. Services include, but are not limited to, business plans, marketing strategies, entrepreneurship curriculum, transition plans to ensure the business accelerator’s long-term sustainability, and day-to-day accelerator operations.
New Business Accelerator Activities
(1) The accelerator companies are vetted to verify the entrepreneur’s history, including business experience, and define specific time periods and concrete deliverables for the entrepreneur.
(2) The contractor engages directly with companies on an almost day day-to-day basis to complete the agreed upon deliverables. The incubator curriculum assists companies to develop business documents, such as marketing plans, business plans, and loan applications, while advising on general business improvements as necessary.
(3) Entrepreneurs can ask for assistance on any relevant business matters and further questions on implementing projects undertaken in the incubator stage.
(4) Companies are invited to networking opportunities and have access to further assistance.
