Employment Type: Contract RoleThe Network Security Engineer (Level 3) will perform advanced cybersecurity analysis to protect TWC’s cloud and network assets. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting cybersecurity threat assessments, cyber intelligence, and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to advise on security-related decision-making.
- Designing and integrating secure systems and cloud architectures.
- Performing security reviews, identifying gaps, and creating risk management/system security plans.
- Ensuring acquired or developed systems comply with TWC’s cybersecurity cloud architecture guidelines.
- Monitoring IT security advisories, publications, and emerging threats.
- Responding to and managing security incidents (may include after-hours support).
- Documenting security requirements and maintaining compliance across the acquisition lifecycle.
- Performing other duties as assigned to maintain operational security.
5. Minimum Requirements (Form A)
Candidates must meet or exceed the following:
- 8+ years – Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer engineering, computer science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years – Experience in cybersecurity analysis or information security analysis.
- 8+ years – Enterprise/security architecture development, implementation, and management.
- 8+ years – Security risk assessments, audits, and compliance with state/federal regulations.
- 8+ years – Strong communication and presentation skills to technical/non-technical audiences.
- 8+ years – Consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- 8+ years – Translating operational requirements into security controls.
- 8+ years – Designing resilient, dependable security systems and adapting to environmental/operational changes.
- 8+ years – Applying network security architecture concepts (topology, defense-in-depth, critical infrastructure systems).
Preferred Skills:
- Proactive, self-motivated, and effective at independent time management.
