Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
10+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco Networking, Security which includes designing, deployment, and providing network support, installation, troubleshooting, and analysis for a broad range of Routing/Switching protocols (eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, IPSEC VPN, DMVPN, ACL, NAT, HSRP/VRRP, VLAN Management, and STP).
Strong working experience on Cisco Security Products, Firewalls, Cisco ASA 5500X, Cisco Firepower NGFW.
Experience with F5 Load balancer And AWS
Experience with WAN optimization, Riverbed.
CCNA and CCNP Certification.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement network segmentation in highly complex with multi-tier applications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues.
- Data Center touch support.
- Perform day-to-day operations and manage Firewall, VPN, and Load Balancer devices.
- Suggest and propose architectural changes to improve efficiency.
- Use acquired knowledge to suggest, edit, and write in-depth Knowledge Base articles.
- Lead efforts to design, and implement core network & security technologies in data-center environments.
- Apply industry best practice standards on network infrastructure builds in a worldwide environment.
- Effectively communicate with customers and partners using collaboration tools regarding technical issues.
- Recommend and perform technological platform upgrades.
- Provide network design inputs as and when required.
- As part of global network project team – ensure timely delivery of agreed project modules
- Design and drive technical operation improvements.
- Coordinate with OEMs (Cisco, F5, etc.) and drive resolution for complicated network issues.
