Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Developer with expertise in maintaining and modernizing legacy applications built on .NET Framework 4.8/4.8.1. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS to Angular migrations, and backend integration using MS SQL Server, NHibernate, and RabbitMQ. The role involves working on an existing solution, refactoring and modernizing it for better performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, enhance, and refactor applications built on .NET Framework 4.8/4.8.1.
- Participate in modernization efforts, including migration from AngularJS to Angular.
- Design, develop, and optimize backend components using C#, .NET, MS SQL Server, and NHibernate.
- Develop and consume Windows Services and message-based integration using RabbitMQ.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing code for performance and stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and product management.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and best practice implementation.
- Ensure application stability, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Contribute to the architectural discussions for incremental modernization and technical improvements.
- Healthcare domain knowledge —eligibility verification, or disability benefits workflows.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework 4.8/4.8.1 and C#.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience migrating or refactoring from AngularJS to Angular (v8+).
- Strong understanding of MS SQL Server, including stored procedures and query optimization.
- Experience with NHibernate ORM for data access.
- Working knowledge of RabbitMQ for messaging and asynchronous processing.
- Experience building and maintaining Windows Services.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
