Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud PaaS System Administrator (Azure)
with exposure to MuleSoft Integration Platform.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing Azure infrastructure to support the middleware applications, implementing security best practices, and collaborating with the development teams. This role also involves supporting highly available MuleSoft PaaS infrastructure, configuring monitoring and alerts, developing deployment strategies, and ensuring optimal performance of MuleSoft components.

Key Responsibilities:
- Azure Infrastructure Management:
- MuleSoft Middleware Infrastructure and Support:
MuleSoft Middleware Infrastructure and Support:
- Setup and Maintenance: Establish and maintain a highly available MuleSoft PaaS infrastructure.
- Monitoring and Alerts: Configure smart monitoring systems, custom application alerts, and flow metrics to ensure system health and performance.
- Deployment Strategies: Develop and implement robust deployment strategies, including Mule clustering and load balancing.
- Runtime Management: Troubleshoot and manage runtime servers and both standard and custom Mule connectors.
- Performance Optimization: Perform in-depth troubleshooting and performance tuning of MuleSoft components to ensure optimal functionality.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise for applications and projects involving MuleSoft.
Azure Infrastructure Management:
- Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure to support MuleSoft middleware applications.
- Availability and Scalability: Ensure high availability and scalability of Azure environments.
- Security Best Practices: Implement Azure security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot issues related to Azure infrastructure and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to maintain and optimize applications.
Additional Skills and Tools:
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Knowledge of SDLC processes, IT governance, and operations.
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools to streamline and automate workflows.
- Azure Networking: Advanced skills in Azure networking.
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- 5+ years of experience in MuleSoft middleware administration (required).
- 3+ years of experience in Azure system administration (required).
- Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- MuleSoft Developer and Platform Architect certifications (required)
- Azure certifications (preferred).
