Description:
We are seeking a technically adept Power Automate and Automation anywhere Unattended Application Support Engineer to join our enterprise automation team. This role focuses on supporting and optimizing unattended automation schedules and workflows using both Microsoft Power Automate and Automation anywhere, with a strong emphasis on Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and multi-bot orchestration across Microsoft server environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Power Automate Expertise
- Strong understanding of cloud flows, desktop flows, and unattended execution.
- Automation anywhere Expertise
- Strong understanding of control room, Bot agents and services, and unattended execution.
- Server Administration
- Experience with Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), and multi-session configuration.
- Bot Monitoring & Incident Management
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools; strong troubleshooting skills across automation and infrastructure.
- Networking Fundamentals
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and port management.
- Security & Compliance
- Credential management, audit logging, and access controls.
- Communication
- Clear documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Power Automate and Automation anywhere –related certifications
- Familiarity with enterprise governance frameworks for automation
- Exposure to emerging orchestration technologies or Agentic AI (a plus)
Key Responsibilities
Unattended Bot Management
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot unattended Power Automate and Automation anywhere bots across RDS-enabled Microsoft servers.
- Optimize bot concurrency and resource allocation for multi-session environments.
- Maintain bot health, credential vaults, and execution logs.
Bot Monitoring & Incident Response
- Proactively monitor bot performance, health, queue status, and execution outcomes.
- Investigate and resolve automation failures, timeouts, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Manage incident lifecycle using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
Infrastructure & Server Support
- Administer Windows Server environments hosting automation workloads.
- Manage Remote Desktop Services (RDS) configurations to support multiple bot sessions.
- Perform routine server maintenance, patching, and performance tuning.
Automation Platform Support
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Power Automate workflows, connectors, and triggers.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Automation anywhere schedules, devices, and administration.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure unattended flows meet enterprise standards.
- Assist in governance, compliance, and audit readiness for automation assets.
Networking & Security
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues affecting bot execution.
- Configure and maintain firewall rules, RPC ports, and endpoint access.
- Ensure secure communication between bots, servers, and external systems.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintain detailed runbooks, SOPs, and incident logs.
- Work cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and automation teams.
- Participate in platform upgrades, testing, and rollout planning.
