Role: MS Access Developer Lead
Location: New York, NY

JOB DESCRIPTION:

6 MS Access applications were developed to support initiatives. These applications have VBA code, reports, user interfaces and access queries. The developers should have strong MS access/VBA skills with knowledge of SQL data bases and ETLs.
They should understand UI design, code storage and release management and should have a solid understanding of application development lifecycle. The tech lead will have excellent Supply Chain applications knowledge and will be the point person on the team to work with the Supply Chain Supply Structures team. They will engage with the SMEs and document the existing apps. This person will translate the knowledge from the existing team and translate it into supportable documentation of these apps which IT will then take over development, maintenance and support for. It is the idea that this person will build out a development team (offshore) to manage all development. This person will have the skills ad strong capability to look for opportunities to consolidate and sunset these apps and work with the Supply Chain team to initiate a plan. This lead would be the point of contact for the IT initiatives. The systems within the scope of services are the following:
1. SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
2. SSIS (SQL Server integration Services)
3. SSMS (SQL Server management Studio)
4. TOAD For SQL
5. QlikSense
6. Kinaxis RapidResponse
7. Microsoft Access / VBA
8. Microsoft Excel/PowerQuery
9. Service Now
10. Dremio / Allation
11. Version control software (TFS ( Toad for SQL) / Ivercy (MS Access)experienced MS Access developer who can help maintain an application developed in MS Access. The supply chain business team developed an app in MS Access that has screens, complex calculations, business rules, interfaces to other applications, etc. There is SQL Server backend where reporting and analysis is done using SSRS, Qlik, Excel/PQ, etc.
