Basic NSF GUIDELINES

1. Not interviewed in the past 12months

2. Equipment: The resource will execute the work using equipment provided by their employer (or will need to use their own equipment) for development. The equipment needs to meet or exceed the NSF Computer Equipment Minimum Specifications (attached NSF Comp Specs).

3. All Java Front-end and Full stack developers need to get a Mac.

4. Background verification 3-5weeks

5. Minimum 3 years physical presence in US. That can include Masters studies; provided of course the total working experience meets the JD

6. Not travelled internationally more than 3months in one block within last 3year (for non-US citizens)

7. Willing to Relocate – YES (post COVID normalcy)

8. Once selected resource needs to go to NSF HQ in Alexandria, VA to collect the NSF Badge

Key Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Mongo Community Edition on Linux, MongoDB architecture, and hands on experience with Ansible Automation

Position Description:

• Automate and maintain MongoDB databases and infrastructure using Community Edition on Linux.

• Experience working with AWS database services including EC2, and S3.

Required Skills:

• Designing, building, and automating the Infrastructure for MongoDB Community Edition.

• Proven experience in using Python, Ansible, and similar methods to automate infrastructure tasks.

• Proven experience with Shell Scripting.

• Knowledge of MongoDB architecture.

• Git/Bitbucket, Confluence, and JIRA experience

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Desired Skills:

• Previous work in DevOps Environments.

• Ansible Automation Platform experience.

• Experience on automating AWS ElastiCache provisioning, administration, and maintenance.
