Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Marketing Cloud Architect to lead the evolution of our Marketing Cloud ecosystem. This role is pivotal in assessing the current platform’s health, architecture, and technical debt, while balancing ongoing maintenance with future enhancements. You will serve as the technical leader for the Marketing Cloud team, driving innovation, scalability, and performance across our digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Platform Assessment & Optimization
o Evaluate the current state of the Marketing Cloud platform, identifying architectural strengths, weaknesses, and areas of technical debt.
o Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Strategic Planning & Enhancement
o Develop a roadmap for future enhancements aligned with business goals and marketing strategies.
o Balance short-term maintenance needs with long-term innovation and platform evolution.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration o Lead and mentor the Marketing Cloud team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, IT, and Data Analytics to ensure seamless integration and alignment. • Architecture & Governance o Define and enforce best practices for Marketing Cloud architecture, data management, and campaign execution. o Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal governance policies. Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Marketing Cloud Architect or similar role in a digital marketing or CRM environment.
• Deep understanding of Marketing Cloud platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign).
• Strong grasp of cloud architecture, data modeling, API integrations, and automation workflows.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance technical rigor with business priorities.
Preferred Skills
• Certifications in relevant Marketing Cloud platforms. • Experience with customer journey mapping, personalization engines, and campaign analytics. • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
