Position: Mainframe Developer (8-10 Year)
Location: Jersey City, NJ (F2F) (Onsite 5days/week)
Pay Range: $50–$60/hour

Key Responsibilities:
• Application Development Create| modify| and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL| Assembler| or other relevant languages.
• System Maintenance Ensure efficient operation of central processing systems| handling updates and enhancements.
• Testing Debugging Perform unit testing| debugging| and troubleshooting for software applications.Collaboration Work with business analysts| system engineers| and other developers to align mainframe solutions with business requirements.
• Documentation Create and maintain technical specifications| user manuals| and support documentation.
• Performance Tuning Optimize applications for speed and efficiency.
Essential Skills Tools: Languages COBOL| JCL| SQL| Assembler.ToolsEnvironments CICS| DB2| VSAM| zOS| ISPF| Mainframe Utilities.Concepts Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)| batch and online processing| data analysis| system integration.
