Position : Magento Developer
Location: Greensboro, NC, Hybrid
Duration: Long Term contract
Core Responsibilities
o Meeting with the design team to discuss the needs of the customer.
o Building and configuring Magento 1x and 2x eCommerce websites.
o Coding of the Magento templates.
o Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
o Designing themes and interfaces.
o Setting performance tasks and goals.
o Troubleshooting integration issues.
o Updating website features and security patches.
o Elicit and document technical requirement through various channels, including F2F client discussion
o Define, analyze and review architecture and technical requirements
o Key responsibility areas include bringing in technology focus to the business for creating an end-to-end eCommerce solutions for customers
Skills Required:
o 5 to 7 years of web development
o Magento 1 and Magento 2 experience (Total 5+ years) must
o Hands on with coding
o Strong PHP, MySQL, OOPS, and RDBMS concept
o Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
o Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.
o Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, PPC, and A/B Testing.
o Proficient with customer interaction, Business analysis, Consulting or addressing Bid/ new deals cycle and response process
o Good understanding of different technologies/solutions/architecture which are integrated with eCommerce
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with superior analytical orientation.
o The ability to work independently or as a key member of a high-powered team
o Having a functional understanding of other similar ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Drupal, Hybris, Oracle etc is a plus
o Magento 2 Certificate is a plus
