Looking for SDET at Dearborn, MI(Day-1 Onsite)

Essential Job Functions:

Ø Collaborates with the internal application teams to develop, recommend and implement test strategies which will include both manual and automated testing
Ø Create and execute detailed manual test cases from information as related to functional requirements and technical specifications documentation to assure quality and accuracy.
Ø Lead the creation of the appropriate Selenium automation scripts to facilitate testing across browsers and mobile devices
Ø Lead offshore resources both in automated and manual testing
Ø Use appropriate tools to test at both the UI and the API level
Ø Lead and oversee the triage of defects and issues.
Ø Participate in daily stand-ups with project team as part of the agile methodology.
Ø Create appropriate test cases within TestRail Test Management tool.
Ø Develop JIRA dashboards showing Testing progress

Job Summary:

This position is for an onshore test lead for FordDirect’s Vehicle Locate Plus product. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of testing for this product including identifying and implementing the appropriate automation strategy. In addition, this individual will lead off-shore resources through all aspects of testing and the management of the appropriate user stories and tasks within an Agile Scrum methodology.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Ø Must have 5+ years of experience as QA test lead.
Ø Must have 2+ year of automation experience with Selenium
Ø Must have 2+ years of SQL experience
Ø Experience with BDD using Cucumber
Ø Experience coding in Java
Ø Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Ø Excellent problem-solving skills
Ø Knowledge of Jira
Ø Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Expectations include a high level of initiative and a strong commitment to job knowledge, productivity, and attention to detail
Ø Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ø Solid software engineering skills – participated in full lifecycle development on large projects.
Ø Must have the ability to self-manage and prioritize work schedule per business needs.
