Job Description: –
Responsibilities:
Providing technical and overall project management for enterprise-wide business intelligence, software/application
development, and infrastructure/architecture projects.
Working closely with the project sponsor and IT senior management to understand and prioritize project tasks.
Solving complex technical problems aligned to business objectives.
Identifying alternative solutions and performing feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis.
Developing and maintaining project charters, work plans, schedules, budgets, and project artifacts.
Managing scope and documenting risks with mitigation plans.
Establishing project organization, methodologies, roles, and responsibilities.
Developing standards, policies, and procedures for business intelligence documentation, tools, and systems.
Developing data/information quality metrics.
Conducting research into new technologies and developing supporting business cases.
Leading user testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing planning efforts.
Managing up to ten (10) or more staff and/or multiple subprojects.
The Project Manager III follows PMI-based industry standard methodologies and must demonstrate capability
managing large, complex database management systems and business intelligence environments.

Must work during CST business hours (9:00 AM 3:00 PM minimum overlap)

Mobile device may be required for DCF-managed mobile application work and must comply with DCF mobile device
management standards
REQUIRED SKILLS:

12+ years as a PM
Active PMP Certification (or similar industry standard)
Experience managing multiple in-flight business intelligence/data warehousing and application development projects (10+ years)

5+ years Data warehouse requirements gathering

If not local to WI with a history of working for WI-based clients, need most of the following:
History of roles as a PM in DCF (or equivalent) agency
History of roles focused on BI/DW solutions in DCF (or equivalent) agency
Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principles (5+ years)
Designing and utilizing performance measures and reports (3+ years)
State of Wisconsin privacy regulations experience
Previous State of Wisconsin experience
