1. Cloud Services & Infrastructure
Data Storage & Processing: S3, Redshift, Aurora Postgres, Glue, EMR, Lambda
Orchestration & Workflow: Step Functions, CloudWatch
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Terraform Enterprise & HCP
CI/CD Pipelines: Concourse, Github actions
2. Data Engineering Foundations
ETL/ELT Pipelines:
Designing and optimizing pipelines using Glue, PySpark, and Kafka
Prior experience in developing ETLs using SSIS and SQL server
Data Modeling: Dimensional and NoSQL modeling, schema design
Data Governance: Data quality, lineage, and stewardship practices
3. Programming & Tools
Languages: Python, SQL, PySpark
Tools: GitHub Actions, Concourse, Qlik Replicate
4. Performance & Cost Optimization
Efficient use of EMR and PySpark to reduce compute costs
Metadata-driven upserts using Apache Iceberg for historical data
