Job Overview
A leading Utility company implementing Oracle Cloud Financials, SCM, and PPM is seeking a highly experienced Lead Oracle Cloud PPM Consultant. This role will be responsible for driving the integration of Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) with key enterprise systems including Oracle EPM, WACS, and Primavera. The ideal consultant will bring strong functional expertise, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex integration activities.
This is a long-term engagement (12–18 months) with 25%–40% travel, fully paid by the client.
Key Responsibilities
PPM Leadership & Functional Expertise
· Lead the full lifecycle implementation of Oracle Cloud PPM modules.
· Provide functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment support for Cloud PPM.
· Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into scalable PPM solutions.
Integrations & Cross-Platform Coordination
Project Management & Leadership
· Act as the primary PPM lead and subject matter expert (SME) for all project-related activities.
· Partner with program leadership, functional teams, and technical architects to ensure alignment across Financials, SCM, and PPM.
· Lead workshops, solution design sessions, CRP/UAT cycles, and training.
Quality Assurance & Best Practices
· Ensure solution adherence to Oracle Cloud best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
· Support cutover planning, data migration validation, and go-live readiness.
· Provide post-go-live hypercare support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience
· 10+ years of overall experience in Oracle ERP/Cloud implementations.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud PPM (Projects Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Control, Grants/Contracts, etc.).
· Strong experience leading PPM integrations with EPM, WACS, and Primavera.
· Proven history of leading end-to-end Oracle Cloud PPM implementations in large enterprise environments.
· Strong knowledge of Cloud Financials & SCM modules and their dependencies with PPM.
· Ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and work in a highly collaborative environment.
· Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working with Utility or Energy Sector clients.
· Oracle Cloud certifications in PPM or related modules.
· Prior integration experience using OIC or similar middleware tools.
· Experience with Agile project delivery methodology.
Work Environment & Travel
· Role based in San Antonio, TX.
· 25%–40% travel required to client sites across the Midwest/Texas region.
· All travel expenses covered by the client.
