Role: Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Capacity & Performance)
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 6+ months
This role is responsible for analyzing system performance and leading infrastructure maintenance activities to support operational stability, capacity planning, and budget forecasting. The position also provides technical leadership, mentors team members, and contributes subject matter expertise to cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze performance data to support capacity planning and resource utilization, contributing to operational and budget planning processes.
• Analyze, plan, test, document, and implement regular, advanced, and specialized maintenance activities for system hardware and software to meet established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Lead, coach, and mentor team members on:
o Technical matters
o Project management
o Task prioritization
o Strategic planning
• Participate in cross-functional project teams, providing subject matter expertise.
• Ensure new system objects are fully supported by developing and maintaining appropriate administrative procedures.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders using clear verbal and written communication.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong experience in performance analysis for capacity planning and resource utilization.
• Proven ability to plan, test, document, and implement system maintenance activities across hardware and software environments.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring technical team members.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams and contributing subject matter expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant certifications in VMware and Kubernetes are highly desirable.
