Role Overview:
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires strong expertise in automation, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud native operations. The ideal candidate will lead DevOps practices, ensure platform reliability, and guide the team in delivering secure, compliant, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage GCP cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Lead containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE).
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or equivalent tools.
- Ensure observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
- Drive security, compliance, and governance across cloud environments.
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization (Docker).
- Experience with Terraform or other IaC frameworks.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and advanced orchestration.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices.
- Leadership experience in guiding cross-functional DevOps teams.
