Front End Developer

Responsibilities (what some have under “The Role”)

·       Join an enthusiastic team of engineers working on Web development products, playing a major part in the company’s growth

·       Raise and follow the standards for clean and maintainable code in your team

·       Inspire, mentor, and encourage team members to reach their full potential

·       Create, and maintain Contentful CMS Data Models and structures.

·       Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

·       Take ownership of problems and their solutions, delivering business value end to end across our technology stack

·       Grow with team, becoming the go-to expert in the CMS technologies and areas of the business you’re most passionate about

Minimum Qualifications:

·       5+ years of experience in frontend development and content management solutions.

·       Experience with Contentful APIs for content management and delivery.

·       Experience with Contentful Administration, Contentful Apps, extensions, and integrations.

·       Demonstrate a strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, with a focus on React.js. Knowledge of Next.js and TypeScript is required.

·       Preferred Qualifications:

·       Understand the end-to-end content lifecycle, including web content management, content preview, publishing, and deployment.

·       Work with HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors like sass/tailwind for front-end styling.

·       Experience with GraphQL and RESTful API integration

·       Experience with continuous integration tools, like GIT, JIRA, or Gitlab.

·       Experience building performant, responsive, robust single-page web applications.

·       Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility issues

·       An understanding of accessibility, SEO principles and its implications on web applications

·       Knowledge of agile development methodologies

·       Interest and motivation to explore and investigate new concepts and technologies

·       Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)

·       Ability to think creative

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Strong time management skills

·       Strong leadership skills

·       Previous experience on mentoring/coaching people

·       Excellent interpersonal skills

Education: (Minimum):

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
