Location:       Open in 2 locations – Chicago IL / Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)

Experience:  15 years

Requirements

IBM iSeries expertise*: Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries servers, LPARs, and virtualization technologies.
System administration*: Experience with system administration tasks, such as configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Resource management*: Understanding of resource allocation and management in LPAR environments.
Security and compliance*: Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory requirements for LPARs.
Problem-solving*: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
Communication*: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:

IBM certifications*: Relevant IBM certifications, such as IBM Certified System Administrator or IBM Certified Deployment Professional.
Experience with IBM iSeries*: Proven experience working with IBM iSeries servers and LPARs.
Strong analytical skills*: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Experience with scripting languages*: Familiarity with scripting languages, such as CL, RPG, or Python, is a plus.
Work Environment:

• Fast-paced IT environment*: Work in a fast-paced IT environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  Collaboration with teams*: Collaborate with other teams, such as system administration, development, and security, to ensure LPARs meet business requirements.
  Continuous learning*: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in iSeries LPAR administration.
