Overview:
Seeking an experienced Windows Admin L3 to manage 1,024 servers across TriZetto and Non-TriZetto environments, including on-premises systems and select AWS-hosted systems (Rate Manager, WebStrat). This role covers system configuration, security, automation, and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
• System & User Management:
Install, configure, and maintain applications and OS.
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
• Security & Monitoring:
Implement firewalls, security patches, and vulnerability management.
Use Precise and Splunk for monitoring and logging.
• Performance & Troubleshooting:
Monitor system performance; optimize for maximum efficiency.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Patch & Documentation:
Oversee monthly patching (via Kyndryl) and maintain configuration documentation.
• Automation:
Utilize PowerShell to automate routine tasks (e.g., health checks, app installs).
• Compliance & Collaboration:
Ensure regulatory compliance and support capacity planning.
Collaborate with network admins on connectivity and configuration.
Technical Environment:
• OS & Versions:
Amazon Linux, Linux Oracle, Linux Red Hat, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016 Datacenter, 2019 Datacenter/Standard)
• Infrastructure:
Servers: Physical and virtualized; provisioning and patching managed by Kyndryl.
Access: Managed via CyberArk.
Workloads: Application hosting.
• Additional Knowledge:
Backup & Disaster Recovery and performance monitoring concepts.
Qualifications:
• Proven L3-level experience in Windows/Linux Administration.
• Strong skills in security, troubleshooting, and automation using PowerShell.
• Familiarity with large-scale, hybrid environments and compliance requirements.
