Cloud Architect

Job Summary:
Hands-on Cloud Architect needed to lead OCTO’s Azure-first multi-cloud environment, supporting secure cloud design, Terraform-based infrastructure, cloud migrations, and AVD oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design and govern secure Azure environments

·         Deliver infrastructure using Terraform and support CI/CD

·         Lead migration of on-prem workloads to Azure

·         Oversee AVD architecture and support AWS operations

·         Maintain cloud standards, security, documentation, and runbooks

·         Mentor engineers and collaborate with agency and security teams

Required Skills and Certification:

·         8+ years in infrastructure engineering with 5+ years in Microsoft Azure

·         5+ years of production Terraform experience

·         Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure migrations, and technical leadership

·         Strong documentation and communication skills

·         Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience

·         AZ-305 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months

Preferred Skills and Certification:

·         Experience with AWS, AVD, and Nerdio

·         Familiarity with NIST, CJIS, or FedRAMP

·         Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Associate and Terraform Associate
