Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Business Analyst (GIS) to assess business needs, design enterprise GIS solutions, improve integrations, and drive data-focused strategies that support operational efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
· Evaluate GIS applications, data, and processes for improvement and modernization
· Translate business needs into GIS solution and integration requirements
· Develop roadmaps, standards, and technical recommendations
· Improve GIS integrations with enterprise systems
· Support data quality, governance, and reuse
· Identify risks, dependencies, and practical mitigation strategies
· Prepare clear documentation and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
Required Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field
· 7+ years of GIS, business analysis, and solution design experience
· Expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, GIS services, APIs, and spatial data
· Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, relational/spatial databases, and REST APIs
· Experience integrating GIS with enterprise platforms
· Strong communication, documentation, and multi-project management skills
Preferred Skills
· Experience with Python, JavaScript, cloud technologies, and GIS automation
· Esri certification
· ArcGIS or enterprise asset management certification
· Experience with HRMS, ERP, and asset management systems
