Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support for service desk requests, hardware installations, software support, and customer issue resolution in Rocky Mount, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Resolve service desk incidents and technical support requests

·         Install, image, and configure computers, printers, and peripherals

·         Perform user data migration and profile transfers

·         Support software deployment and troubleshoot customer issues

·         Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and status updates

·         Collaborate with infrastructure, data center, and application teams

·         Follow security policies and protect systems and data

Required Skills and Certification:

·         7+ years of experience with computer hardware, software, peripherals, networking, and communications

·         7+ years installing and imaging computers and loading software

·         7+ years installing and configuring printers and peripherals

·         7+ years migrating user data and profiles

·         7+ years documenting technical support procedures

·         7+ years of experience with ServiceNow

Preferred Skills and Certification:

·         Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills

·         Experience supporting AD, email, NCID, and CITRIX

·         Ability to lead technical support efforts and documentation work

Scheduling:

·         On-site in Rocky Mount, NC

·         Travel Required
