Sr. SQL DBA

Job Summary:
Experienced Sr. SQL DBA needed to manage and support business-critical SQL Server databases with focus on security, performance, backup/recovery, high availability, and Windows Server administration.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Install, upgrade, and maintain SQL Server 2022 or later

·         Manage database security, auditing, backups, recovery, and disaster recovery

·         Monitor performance, storage, health checks, and high-availability environments

·         Perform TSQL tuning, ETL support, and troubleshooting

·         Maintain Windows Servers, EC2 instances, clustering, and PowerShell-based administration

·         Provide 24-hour support as needed

Required Skills and Certification:

·         4+ years of SQL Database Administration experience

·         Experience with SQL Server 2016 or later

·         3+ years of Windows Server Administration experience

·         Strong skills in backup/recovery, security, HA, DR, TSQL, and ETL

·         Certifications required

Preferred Skills and Certification:

·         Experience with GenTax application architecture and maintenance

·         Knowledge of cloud platforms, Active Directory, firewall administration, and security standards

·         Strong communication skills
