Database Administrator 4

Job Summary:
Experienced Database Administrator 4 needed to manage enterprise SQL Server environments across on-premises and Azure, ensuring performance, security, availability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments

·         Monitor and tune database performance, queries, and indexes

·         Manage backup, recovery, HA/DR, and replication solutions

·         Enforce RBAC, encryption, and security standards

·         Support developers with schema design, code review, and automation

·         Administer Azure SQL platforms and maintain technical documentation

Required Skills and Certification:

·         5+ years managing enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments

·         Experience in performance tuning, security/compliance, and developer support

·         Strong knowledge of T-SQL, SSMS, backup/recovery, and HA/DR

·         Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills and Certification:

·         Experience with Azure SQL, SSIS, ETL, and database migrations

·         Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Redgate
