Informatica Lead Developer

Position: Informatica Lead Developer

Location: Branchville, NJ (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Experience Required: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

Lead development and support of data integration applications using Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, or similar platforms).
Design and develop mappings, mapplets, workflows, reusable transformations, sessions, parameter files, and deployment packages.
Develop, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.
Translate business requirements into efficient data integration and warehousing solutions.
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure adherence to enterprise data standards.
Lead production support activities including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation.
Mentor team members on Informatica best practices, coding standards, testing, and performance tuning.
Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer initiatives.
Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and release management activities.
Evaluate modern data platforms and ELT technologies, including Databricks.
 

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Warehouse, Data Integration, or Data Engineering projects.
Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or equivalent ETL tools.
Advanced SQL development and query tuning experience.
Strong understanding of dimensional and normalized data modeling concepts.
Experience with Databricks or modern ELT platforms is highly preferred.
Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and resolve data quality challenges.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
