Job Role: Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) Functional Consultant

Location: Boca Raton, FL – Onsite

Duration: Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day financial operations using Microsoft Dynamics GP across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
Act as a key finance user, handling transactions, validations, and routine accounting activities within GP.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reporting and audit support.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of financial processes.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) as an end user (not IT/support role).
Functional expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
Experience handling day-to-day accounting operations in a business environment.
Ability to work independently and manage financial tasks with high accuracy.
