Duration: 6 Months+
Specific skills would be
ability to troubleshoot
java applications,
Windows server issues (particularly issues with windows services),
networking issues (they should be familiar with HTTPS, TCP/IP & SSH protocols, SSL certificates, and java keystores as well as how to look at the Windows event viewer to find errors/log entries and how to resolve what they find),
familiarity with MS SQL and the ability to run SQL queries against a MS SQL database,
how to do trace routes and pings to find where communications may be failing on a network,
Must have great communication skills since these people will be interacting both verbally and in writing directly with customers.
