About the Role
Join our team to develop and maintain **RESTful microservices** powering our mortgage loan servicing operations. You’ll work on a mission-critical API platform serving providing real-time access to loan payments, escrow management, bankruptcy/foreclosure data, and more.

API: Open API 3.0, JAX-RS, Jakarta REST
Data: SQL Server, JPA/Hibernate, Spring Data
DevOps: Gradle, Docker, Azure DevOps, CI/CD
Testing: JUnit 5, Spock, Jacoco, SonarQube
Message Broker: Confluent Kafka (Event Streaming)
Messaging Queue: RabbitMQ (AMQP)
Spring Integration: Spring for Apache Kafka, Spring AMQP
Event Patterns: Event Sourcing, CQRS, Pub/Sub, Message-driven microservices
What You’ll Do
Design and develop RESTful APIs using Open API specifications
Build complex database integrations
Optimize API performance and database queries
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams
Support production deployments and troubleshooting
Must-Have Skills
6+ years Java development experience
4+ years Spring Framework (Boot, Data, Cloud)
Strong REST API design and implementation
Proficient in JPA/Hibernate and SQL
Experience with microservices architecture
Solid testing skills (JUnit, Mockito)
Git version control expertise
Nice-to-Have
SQL Server & T-SQL experience
Azure Cloud knowledge
Open API/Swagger specifications
Docker containerization
Mortgage servicing or financial services domain
JAX-RS frameworks (Jersey, RESTEasy)
AWS and Akamai experience is a plus
