Role: Azure Platform Engineer (Azure and PowerShell focused only)

Location: Hybrid Onsite in Austin 2 days week Only Local

12 Month Contract to hire – Must be GC or USC

 

 

Must have last 2 projects reference and LinkedIn 

 

This candidate will be responsible for supporting the core infrastructure including compute, storage, cloud, identity, and application support for client. Must have the ability to administer a Microsoft Azure and Windows environment.

 

Top technical requirements include:

Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure design and support.
Experience with PowerShell and automation technologies.
Experience with Agile and ITIL methodologies and practices.
Previous experience with on prem support
 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Provides platform support including on premise and cloud compute, storage, services, and infrastructure.
Automates processes and integrations across multiple technologies, primarily using Windows PowerShell.
Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves complex platform issues.
Performs installation, configuration, and maintenance of platform services.
Assists in developing and conducting evaluations of new and existing solutions to identify potential benefits and impact to the agency.
Monitors platform services to ensure system availability and efficiency.
Assists with developing and documenting policies, procedures, and standards for supporting core platform technologies.
Collaborates with other agency staff to identify and implement service and security improvements.
Other duties assigned, which may include on-call or scheduled after hours work as required.
