Job Description:
• Focusing on improving the accuracy of how the system interprets spoken words and phrases from callers/webchat users, allowing for more natural and efficient customer interactions.
• Collecting large datasets of voice samples to train speech recognition models, ensuring they can accurately identify different accents, dialects, and speech patterns.
• Testing the IVR system”s speech recognition and web interfaces for chat performance to identify areas for improvement and address issues like false positives or misinterpretations.
• Studying customer interactions to understand common errors in speech recognition and adapt the models accordingly
• Implementing advanced speech recognition techniques like natural language processing (NLP) to enable more complex interactions with callers.
• Programming skills:
? Proficiency in programming languages used to develop speech recognition systems.
? Familiarity with grammar rules, syntax, and semantics to optimize language models.
• Data analysis skills:
? Ability to analyze large datasets of speech data to identify patterns and improve model accuracy.
? Ability to manage and modify NLU performance patterns.
• Communication skills:
? Clear ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Skillsets
? Nuance Recognizer, Nuance Dragon Voice, Nuance SpeechSuite or like NLU vendors
? Scripting language such as Perl
? Linux and Windows
? JavaScript/ECMAscript for grammar development and testing
