Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-site/Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly experienced VMware Specialist for a direct client opportunity in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for the backbone of our virtualization infrastructure, focusing on hardware lifecycle management and security integration.

Responsibilities:
Lead and execute VMware hardware upgrades to ensure optimal performance and capacity.
Harden the virtualization environment by configuring advanced cybersecurity settings.
Integrate VMware infrastructure with enterprise identity management systems (e.g., Active Directory, Okta).
Design and configure secured APIs for automation and integration between VMware and other platforms.

Requirements:
7+ years of experience in VMware administration and engineering.
Proven track record with physical hardware upgrades in a VMware cluster environment.
Deep understanding of STIGs, CIS benchmarks, or similar security configurations for vSphere.
Experience integrating virtual infrastructure with IAM solutions for SSO and RBAC.
Expertise in REST/SOAP API configuration and security (PowerCLI/PowerShell scripting is a plus).
