Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: Contract Position
Required Skills:
Skilled at writing clean, high-performant and unit-testable code in Java
Proficiency with the architecture, deployment, performance tuning, and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems on AWS
Understanding of SRE principals including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and automation
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization
In depth knowledge of Linux and Unix
Experience with DR activities Datastores: Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB
Good Knowledge in DB queries and stored procedures(Oracle/SQL) Deep systems and infrastructure knowledge.
Able to drive conference calls during issues.
Experience in Automations of manual tasks. Experience with deploying, supporting and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Experience with scale testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes and docker. Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time with high quality
