Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, CDS views, and RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP), integrating AI-driven features for business process optimization.
Implement AI solutions using SAP Joule copilot for generative AI tasks, such as automated ABAP code generation, unit test creation, and code explanation to accelerate development cycles.
Design and deploy AI-powered use cases, including predictive analytics (e.g., demand forecasting, financial reconciliation) and intelligent automation (e.g., chatbot-driven workflows) within SAP modules like FI/CO, MM, SD, or HCM.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications, incorporating AI for enhanced decision-making and process efficiency.
Optimize SAP HANA database performance with AI-assisted SQL query generation, schema management, and predictive modeling for real-time analytics.
Integrate SAP BTP AI services (e.g., machine learning models, natural language processing) with SAP systems to enable smart workflows and data-driven insights.
Support SAP system upgrades, migrations to S/4HANA, and AI model deployments, ensuring minimal disruption and robust documentation.
Mentor junior developers on SAP and AI best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Ensure code quality through automated testing, static analysis, and adherence to SAP’s Clean Code principles, with a focus on secure AI integrations.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of SAP development experience, with proficiency in ABAP, SAP HANA, SAPUI5/Fiori, OData, and CDS views.
2+ years of hands-on experience integrating AI/ML into SAP environments, using tools like SAP Joule, SAP BTP AI, or other machine learning frameworks.
Proven track record of delivering AI-enhanced SAP solutions, such as predictive analytics or automated workflows, in at least one SAP module (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD).
Technical Skills:
Expertise in ABAP programming, RAP, and SAP HANA SQL scripting.
Experience with SAP BTP AI services, generative AI tools (e.g., Joule for code generation), and machine learning for predictive scenarios.
Familiarity with SAP integration tools (e.g., CPI, API Management) and cloud platforms for AI deployment.
Knowledge of Git, SAP ADT in Eclipse, and performance optimization techniques.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration, and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver or S/4HANA; SAP BTP or AI-related certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP Business AI for specific use cases (e.g., intelligent document processing, anomaly detection).
Knowledge of low-code/no-code AI tools on SAP BTP for rapid prototyping.
Exposure to non-SAP AI frameworks (e.g., Python-based ML libraries) integrated with SAP systems.
