Job Title: Onshore Project Manager – Azure Databricks Implementation

 (8+ years)

Part-time: 20hr/week

Location: Remote
Duration: Contract (6–12 months)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Onshore Project Manager to lead and manage the Databricks implementation project. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating between business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and offshore resources to ensure successful delivery of the Databricks Lakehouse platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end project management for Databricks implementation and data platform modernization.
Coordinate between onshore stakeholders and offshore technical teams.
Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Work closely with Data Architects and Engineers on Azure Databricks, ADF, and Data Lake integration.
Track project milestones and provide regular status reports to leadership.
Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
Support change management and user adoption of the new platform.
Required Skills:

8+ years of Project Management experience in Data/Analytics projects.
Experience managing Databricks or Azure data platform implementations.
Strong understanding of Data Engineering, ETL, Data Warehousing concepts.
Experience with Azure ecosystem (ADF, ADLS, Databricks, Power BI).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with non-profit or enterprise clients is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred.
Experience with Lakehouse architecture.
Experience managing global delivery teams.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
Nice to Have:

Experience with Power BI reporting projects.
Exposure to cloud cost optimization.
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
