Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
Willing to be in San Diego, CA ( Tues – Thurs (all day).) That might not be every week.
West Coast Candidates preferred .. !!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
WHAT THE HIRING MANAGER IS LOOKING FOR:
Proven Senior Project Manager / program manager.
Must be on the West Coast + willing to be in Carlsbad Tues – Thurs (all day). That might not be every week.
Able to do the work, not just tell someone what to do
Preferred ** Techno-Functional – who can talk to the BASIS team about what needs to happen in a landscape and also understands a business area.
Preferred ** S/4 HANA 2021 or higher preferred
MUST BE ** self-starter who doesn’t wait for direction, someone who will make decisions.
Must work well with other consultants.
We don’t want a pure PM. It has to be a pure PM plus techno-functional – lots of seasoning
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
*** Aerospace & Defense industry experience HIGHLY preferred.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, technical leads, and end-users.
Ensure project milestones are met within agreed upon timelines and budget.
Develop comprehensive project plans, and monitor progress continuously.
Address potential risks and issues, offering effective resolutions.
Serve as the primary contact for client stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure deliverables are aligned with business requirements and company standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
Min. 10 years’ experience in SAP project management,
At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
SAP certification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of SAP methodologies and best practices.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Travel required ** 3 days/week on-site the first 10 weeks
