Job Title: Principal Consultant -SAP Financials (FICO Architect)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ months
Position Summary
The Principal Consultant will serve as the senior functional consultant for SAP S4 Hana
Financial modules (FI, CO, FSCM, FM/GM when applicable) and all solution areas integrated
with Finance (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Tax, Reporting &
Analytics, and third-party financial applications).
This role provides enterprise-level thought leadership, drives solution architecture
decisions, ensures adoption of SAP best practices, and partners closely with Finance,
Procurement, and IT stakeholders to deliver a fit-to-standard process landscape.
The ideal candidate combines deep SAP financial expertise with broad understanding of
Integrated systems, cross-functional business processes, and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership & Solution Architecture
. Serve as the primary functional architect for all SAP Financial modules (FI-GL, AP/AR,
AA, CO, PA/PS, Treasury, Tax, Consolidations).
. Design and maintain end-to-end financial solution architecture, ensuring seamless
integration across SAP and connected applications (e.g., Coupa, Concur, Blackline,
treasury systems, bank integrations).
. Lead fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, solution design, and validation for new capabilities,
enhancements, and transformations.
· Ensure solutions adhere to SAP best practices, internal governance, security, and
compliance standards.
IT Delivery
* Act as the senior functional lead on enterprise Finance initiatives including S/4HANA
upgrades, simplification programs, P2P/O2C/R2R transformations, and M&A
integrations,
* Oversee functional design, testing strategies, deployment, and hypercare for Finance
and integrated platforms.
Stakeholder Management
Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
