Oracle Finance technical Architect (AP, AR, GL, Cost Accounting, Project Accounting)/Remote

Position: Oracle Finance technical Architect (AP, AR, GL, Cost Accounting, Project Accounting)
Location: Remote+ 3 days travel to client place, which will be mostly EST location
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise across AP, AR, GL, Project Costing, Project Accounting, and Project Billing. The ideal consultant has recent end to end Oracle Cloud implementation experience, deep knowledge of setups and configurations, and the ability to lead technical solutioning across Financials and Projects modules.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead technical delivery for Oracle Cloud Financials and Projects modules, including AP, AR, GL, Project Costing, Project Accounting, and Project Billing.
• Perform and validate module setups, configurations, and functional technical alignment across Financials and Projects.
• Drive end to end Oracle Cloud implementation activities, including requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, deployment, and post go live support.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and support integrations, extensions, reports, and data conversions as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyse root causes, and implement long term fixes.
• Ensure compliance with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and patch cycles.
• Provide technical leadership, documentation, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel to East Coast client sites 3–4 times per month for workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

Required Skills & Experience
• 18+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with at least 3+ years in Oracle Cloud.
• Strong hands-on experience with setups, configurations, and solution design across AP, AR, GL, and Project modules.
• Recent experience leading end to end Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Technical proficiency in:
o BI Publisher
o OTBI
o FBDI/HDL
o Oracle Integration Cloud (preferred)
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud security, workflows, and data models.
• Excellent communication and client facing skills.
• Ability to travel to East Coast locations as required.
