Job Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP GTS Consultant to support our global trade operations by configuring, implementing, and maintaining SAP Global Trade Services. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with international trade regulations, optimize customs and trade processes, and support SAP system integrations related to trade compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and support SAP GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management, Preference Processing, and/or Sanctioned Party List Screening).
• Integrate SAP GTS with ECC/S4HANA systems and external customs systems.
• Work with global business and compliance teams to gather requirements and deliver SAP GTS solutions.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to import/export processes and trade regulations.
• Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, data loads, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper documentation of functional designs, process flows, and test cases.
• Provide user training and post-go-live support.
• Stay up-to-date with global trade laws, customs regulations, and SAP best practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP GTS.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, compliance screening, and customs processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP GTS modules (especially Compliance and Customs).
• Experience with integration of SAP GTS with ECC or S/4HANA.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with SAP Support and Change Management processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
• SAP GTS certification.
• Experience with AEB or third-party trade compliance tools.
• Background in logistics, export/import operations, or trade compliance.
• Knowledge of tools like IDoc, RFC, BAPI, PI/PO, or middleware interfaces.
